Atlantic Voices is looking for basses and tenors to join the choir. There is also a waiting list for altos and sopranos. The repertoire is comprised mainly of Newfoundland, Maritime, and Celtic songs that are fun to sing and to listen to. You don't need to be a Newfoundlander, or even a Maritimer, to join - everyone is welcome! All you need is a desire to sing and a love for music from the East Coast. This is an amateur choir, so no auditions for singers are necessary, however a brief meeting with the Musical Director will be scheduled after 2 or 3 weeks to determine correct section placement for you, and to allow the director to get to know the musical abilities of our members.
